1. Service Description
Gallup Residents Directory is a privately operated reference for public indexes, records pathways, and directory collections connected with Gallup, New Mexico. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with an office, court, library, archive, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm a person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful conduct.
- Make a decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Scrape, systematically copy, or republish the service at scale.
- Interfere with security or normal operation.
3. Consumer-Report Notice
Gallup Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Material here and results from linked tools are not consumer reports and may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.
4. Outside Services
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search providers, have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content, availability, pricing, data practices, or results.
5. No Warranties
The service is offered as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that its content is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or that an outside portal will return a result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of the service or a linked resource, including decisions made from a record or search result.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The service’s original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links and brief attributed excerpts are welcome. Republishing complete pages or systematically copying the content is not permitted.
9. Term Updates
We may post updated terms at any time. Continued use after an update is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Access Restrictions
We may block or limit access, without notice, when a user violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Governing Law
New Mexico law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12, governs public-records access at its covered custodians. These terms do not create a right to records beyond that statute or other applicable law.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
