Information You Submit
Search-form entries, such as a name, phone number, or address, are sent to the outside provider that supplies search results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Information
Routine hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and time of visit. We review aggregated log information to operate and improve the service. Cookies or comparable tools may support essential analytics and, when present, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Limited data is used to run the service, respond to messages, diagnose technical issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Gallup Residents Directory links to government portals, libraries, archives, and outside search providers. Their own privacy statements govern information submitted there. That includes sponsored-result providers, which are separate services.
Who Processes Data
Hosting and support providers may process the operational logs described above. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information needed for their services. Information is disclosed only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise stated in this policy.
Data Security
The service uses an encrypted connection. Operational logs are retained only for the period needed for the stated purposes. Because there are no site accounts, the service does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, laws may provide rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data held by a service. New Mexico’s 2026 SB 192 did not become law, so this policy does not claim a broad statewide consumer-privacy statute. Because this service retains very little, a request usually concerns the contact mailbox or operational logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Records held by Gallup, McKinley County, or New Mexico custodians remain outside our control and must be addressed to the official custodian.

A revised policy will be posted here. Continuing to use the service after publication of a revision means the revised policy applies.
